We already have LGBTQWTF organizations ignoring lesbian issues (and womens’ issues) unless they are trans issues. We have the NCLR ( a formerly lesbian rights organization) now focused on trans kids.

There once was a vibrant lesbian culture, which has been subsumed by the cult of gender.

This article – talks about Leroy as a man (mentions once he is trans) and does not mention woman or lesbian issues in the entire rest of the article. Of what interest is there to women-loving-women? I sure cannot figure it out.

I agree with the other commenters here – get it together and build lesbian culture, or you are just making Lesbian.com totally irrelevant to your intended audience.

Then I would suggest that you consider changing your name to LGBTQandAllies.com. Or PrettyMuchAnything.com.

Your interviewer, Sid, informs his(?) readers that Lucas Silveira’s new album “goes a whole new, sexy direction.” I am curious what demographic you think finds it sexy?

Check out your tagline for LESBIAN.com at the foot of this page: “strives to bring together the best and brightest of the lesbian world for the empowerment and benefit of lesbians worldwide. That’s a great concept! I hope you’ll try harder to honor it in the future.

Check out our Interviews and Entertainment pages for features on fantastic lesbian/queer musicians, writers, performers, filmmakers, entrepreneurs and more!

Isn’t part of why this site was created was to feature actual lesbians?

Lucas really should have manned up and said that perhaps you should feature a lesbian musician on lesbian.com…because he isn’t one.

Seriously, if you transition, you transition out of the lesbian community too, and need to embrace ally status.

It just seems like somewhere there might be a lesbian artist or musician who is awesome and needs the exposure. Lucas is a man and not a lesbian. It just seems like a ripoff to lesbians to have to push over for men, I mean men get featured more in most every other forum, you know?

What is it about the slippery slope that is trans*activism that you folks at Lesbian.com don’t get? As a lesbian, I want to read about female lesbian artists here – not about trans*folk. Either they were NOT raised as girls and women, but appropriate women’s and lesbian’s culture, or they WERE raised as girls and women, and reject women’s and lesbian’s culture. Either way, by highlighting the trans*, you’re contributing to the erasure of lesbians – the original gender-non-conforming females.
