Wedding ring, promise ring, engagement ring – to me all convey the same message…a commitment to love & cherish the bond you share. All that matters is how you both feel for one another 🙂 I have been married to the love of my life for nearly 4 years now and what I love the most is, hugging her when I go to bed and kissing her when I wake up. We got married in Toronto to be together (we are from different countries) and at that time all we could afford was sterling silver…we didn’t have any family members or even friends as witness. It was just this Saturday that we purchased simple diamond rings. We could have afforded expensive rings 3 years back when i got a permanent job but we didn’t feel the need to. I have come to realize that as long as there is room for two individuals to be themselves in a relationship, the love will never die.
