And why? Our being-in-the-world is more rewarding when people can interact with us as who we are and not a fantastical projection. Projections are inauthentic and can lead to nasty breakups.

I never use photographs of myself standing by some expensive car or house for the same reason you do not want to use a picture of yourself with other people, or are you looking for crowd, car, dog, cat, bird, or house? Picture are evocative like poetry, songs, or paintings, use them to your advantage to evoke desire for you and not an object or fantasy.
