Houston Mayor Annise Parker tied the knot with longtime partner Kathy Hubbard in a Jan. 16 ceremony in Palm Springs, Calif. ABC Eyewitness News 13 reports that the couple was married before an intimate group of friends and family, which included Parker’s mother and Hubbard’s sister, on the 23rd anniversary of their relationship. Officiating was Rev. Paul Fromberg of San Francisco’s St. Gregory of Nyssa Episcopal Church, who is also a family friend,according to media reports.

She also told the Associated Press in a statement, “This is a very happy day for us. We have had to wait a very long time to formalize our commitment to each other. Kathy has been by my side for more than two decades, helping to raise a family, nurture my political career and all of the other ups and downs and life events that come with a committed relationship.”

Dot-Marie Jones married girlfriend Bridgett Casteen on Saturday (Dec. 21), People confirms. The “Glee” star exchanged vows during a surprise ceremony, which was held at the couple’s Los Angeles home.

According to guests of the event, Jones and Casteen invited friends and family to a holiday party, only to announce that they were going to tie the knot once everyone arrived.

According to People, this will be the 49-year-old Emmy-nominated star’s first marriage and Casteen’s second. Casteen has since changed her surname to Jones on Instagram.

“Family Ties” star Meredith Baxter is set to marry her longtime girlfriend. TMZ reports Baxter obtained a marriage license from a Beverly Hills, Calif., courthouse Friday to wed her partner, Nancy Locke.

Baxter and Locke have been dating for seven years. In 2011, she told Oprah Winfrey that she didn’t know how coming out would affect her work and she was scared. Despite those trepidations, she described her relationship with Locke as the “healthiest” she’s ever had. The 66-year-old actress played Elyse Keaton on the popular 1980s sitcom. She was married three times before announcing she is gay in 2009.

“Glee” star Jane Lynch is embracing the single life. Two months after filing for divorce from wife of three years Lara Embry, the 53-year-old actress admitted to TMZ that she’s fine with being relationship-free.

“I kind of like being single,” she told the site’s camera crew. Lynch filed for divorce in July 2013, one month after announcing that she and Embry were splitting up. Earlier this month, TMZ reported that Embry is asking Lynch to pay her $93,809 a month in spousal support.

She’s recently divorced, but “Glee” star Jane Lynch is keeping a cool head about it. In an interview with Billy Bush for PopCrush, the 53-year-old actress said that she wasn’t ready to dive back into the dating pool but that single life was just “fine.” Lynch filed for divorce from wife-of-three-years Dr. Lara Embry, a psychologist, in July. Earlier this month, People magazine reported that Embry requested that Lynch pay her attorney’s fees and spousal support.

Now Lynch tells Bush that she expects to give a pay-out to her estranged spouse from some of her “highest earning years.” “[California] is a half and half state, as well as it should be, so that’s fine … It’s just money.”
