When she returns to her conservative home town she agrees to coach a troubled teen named Saffron (Paris Pickard), who faces jail time if she doesn’t join the Marines.

Alex is the authority figure Saffron needs to turn her life around. She fuels the young woman’s transition from slacker to boot-camp-ready recruit. But an ugly campaign to “reveal the truth” about Alex’s discharge threatens to derail both women’s futures.

You may not know Dreya Weber by name, but you definitely know her work. Former Olympian, renowned aerialist, and the genius behind Pink’s show-stopping “Glitter in the Air” aerial routine at the 2010 Grammy’s, she’s also shared the stage with divas like Christina Aguilera, Rihanna, Madonna and Britney Spears.

Her big screen credits include “The Gymnast” which she produced and in which she stars and demonstrates her breathtaking aerial skills. The film took home 28 festival awards, including Best Feature at Outfest, Newfest and Frameline. She also produced and stars in “A Marine Story.”

Weber describes herself as omnisexual and lists “Heavenly Creatures” as her favorite LGBT film.
