Everyone’s favorite U.S. Women’s Soccer Team mid-fielder, Megan Rapinoe, announced her engagement to singer-songwriter Sera Cahoone. Rapinoe has long been recognized as a force to reckon with on the soccer field and was recently launched into the public eye with the U.S. Women’s Soccer team World Cup Win. She came out early in her athletic career and has given back to the LGBT community, through advocacy with Athlete Ally, an organization dedicated to ending homophobia and transphobia in sports, as well as GLSEN, the Gay Lesbian and Straight education center. Dreams really do come true at Disneyland.

Dot Marie Jones, who plays Coach Shannon Beiste on “Glee,” proposed to her longtime girlfriend Bridgett Casteen on Friday while attending the theme park’s Anaheim Gay Days. In true princess fashion, Jones popped the question near the theme park’s Sleeping Beauty castle.

Jones told The Advocate on Friday, “It’s the happiest day of my life. I never thought I’d find somebody that is so loving and kind.” Casteen and Jones couldn’t help but share their thrilling news with fans.

Former “Roseanne” star Sara Gilbert is engaged to Linda Perry, the former frontwoman of the band 4 Non Blondes. On Monday, Gilbert announced on “The Talk” that she had said yes to Perry, who popped the question while picnicking in a Los Angeles park.

“She goes to her backpack and she pulls out some T-shirts, and the first T-shirt says ‘Will,’ and then she puts on another T-shirt that says ‘You,’ ‘Marry,’ ‘Me’ and the last one is a question mark. And then she goes to her backpack and gets a ring.It’s like the most amazing proposal ever,” Gilbert said.
