Today, Dattch, “The Lesbian App,” starts a column for Lesbian.com on love, dating and, well, lesbians. We figured a good way to kickstart this lesbian loving affair was to look at the celebrity couples that had it right.

So how about looking at these nine super cute famous lesbian couples? We promise your work rate will improve after reading this list. Either that, or you’ll be desperate to get a girlfriend of your own.

1. Ellen DeGeneres & Portia de Rossi

Although rumours of divorce seem to always to trouble Ellen and Portia, they still are the queen and queen of lesbian couples. They have have been together since 2004 and tied the knot in 2008, the equivalent of a 30-year marriage in celebrity years.

2. Chely Blitzer-Wright & Lauren Blitzer-Wright

Another married couple. Country star Chely Wright came out as a lesbian in 2010 and married girlfriend Lauren Blitzer. The two have twin sons and post loads of pictures of them on their Twitter.

3. Cara Delevingne & Michelle Rodriguez

So what if Michelle Rodriguez is apparently with Zac Efron now. Unless we have a bombshell on the way, Cara and Michelle will still hold the trophy of 2014’s coolest lesbian couple and deserve a place on the list. The English supermodel and “Fast & Furious” actress were paparazzi’s favorite gays.

4. Adele Haenel & Celine Sciamma

Adele came out in this year’s Cesar, the French Academy Awards, by thanking her girlfriend Celine. The two met when filming the lesbian movie “Water Lilies.” Adele was the lead actress, Celine the director.

5. Wanda & Alex Sykes

Comedian Wanda Sykes married the French Alex Niedbalski, a month before publicly coming in 2008. This adorable lesbian couple have two children together, Lucas and Olivia Sykes.

6. Michelle Harper & Jenny Shimizu

The model Jenny Shimizu is famous for dating Angelina Jolie in the 90s, but her current girlfriend is actually fashion brand consultant Michelle Harper. Rejoice in the super cute queer photoshoot the two did for a clothing brand.

7. Beth Ditto & Kristin Ogata

Last year, The Gossip’s Beth Ditto married her long-term girlfriend Kristin Ogata in a wedding ceremony in Hawaii. Beth was wearing a Jean Paul-Gaultier dress and Ogata was wearing a shorts suit. Alright for some.

8. Rose & Rosie

The lesbian YouTubers are, quite possibly, the cutest lesbian YouTubers on YouTube. You’ve probably seen Rose & Rosie’s gifs on Tumblr or watched videos of them goofing around. A video of them “superkissing” has over a million views, so safe to say they are popular with lesbians.

9. Ellen Page & You

A lesbian can dream.

Since Ellen Page came out in February, it seems like lesbians and lesbian rumors are coming out of the woodwork. Here’s a rundown of the lesbian hopefuls springing up all over the interwebs.

KRISTEN STEWART
2013_kristen_stewart.psd

As Lesbian.com reported yesterday, lesbian rumors have swirled around the “Twilight” star since her split with Robert Pattinson in May 2013. The lucky lady is pal Alicia Cargile. Showbizspy cites the pair’s proclivity for dressing similarly as evidence of their sapphic swaying. It works for us.

Stewart starred as a tomboy trapped in a room with Jodie Foster in “Panic Room.” That would make even the most rabid heterosexuals turn. This is a rumor we hope is true.

IRELAND BALDWIN
Ireland Baldwin
The statuesque, 18-year-old model daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger is dating a woman, allegedly. Autostraddle chronicled the Twitter love fest between Baldwin and rapper Angel Haze, who got matching “we can be heroes” tattoos. The only thing that says lesbian more than matching clothes is matching ink. Let’s hope this one is true, too.

CARA DELEVINGNE
Cara Delevingne
Remember when people like Michelle Rodriguez made us guess and wish and wonder for years and years and years about whether they were on our team or not? Not anymore. Not only does the hottest model on the planet openly date the aforementioned lesbian tease, Cara Delevingne, 21, says “she plays for more than one team.” From February to mid-April, Cara and Michelle were inseparable and constantly tweeting their affections, but it has been radio silence for a few weeks.

Hot off the rumor mill, TMZ is reporting that Cara is spreading the lesbian love as she was spotted leaving a London nightclub on April 30 holding hands with Sienna Miller. Girl, this lesbianism is catching.

HONORABLE MENTIONS
A few ladies we’ve longed to have on our team for years have acknowledge taking a dip in the lady pool recently.

CAMERON DIAZ
Cameron Diaz
On “What Happens Live,” the “Charlie’s Angels” star said “Yes, I have been with a lady, yeah.” Unfortunately, she did not elaborate with details, like which lady and for how long, but it’s a start. Crossing fingers and toes that we can send her a toaster oven soon.

SARAH MACLACHLAN
Sarah MacLachlan
No one can love dogs that much and not at least visit the lady end of the pool. She told the Huffington Post that “[She’s] made out with more than one woman, but it just sort of happened. And there may have been alcohol involved with one of them.” Even if she’s not going to join team lesbian full-time, we owe her a huge debt of gratitude for writing all the best lesbian break-up songs.

Get your tissues out, MacLachlan’s new album “Shine On” comes out May 6.

Ellen DeGeneres reclaimed her spot atop Out magazine’s Power 50 list, the publication’s ranking of the most influential LGBT voices in American culture.

DeGeneres traded spots with Apple CEO Tim Cook after a year in which the comedian saw her daytime talk show ratings and popularity soar. Earlier this year, DeGeneres’ gained notoriety for “the selfie that broke Twitter” during her gig as Oscars host.

“Everybody loves Ellen, and that’s one of the reasons she’s regained the top spot,” Out wrote.

Lesbians had a strong showing on the magazine’s 8th annual list with MSNBC news anchor/political commentator Rachel Maddow (#3), U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin (#4) and television host Robin Roberts (#10) joining DeGeneres in the top 10. Other notables included actresses Jane Lynch (#20) and Ellen Page (#29), WNBA star Brittney Griner (#31) and television host and author Suze Orman (#35).

You can view the full Power 50 list at Out magazine.

BY FARM SAETEURN
Lesbian.com

Just like the rest of us, celebrities love animals, especially the furry friends who live to give them kisses (slobbery ones) and jump around like they’re from “House of Pain” when they get home, and who wag their tails wildly when they give them the slightest attention. Yup, they love the pooches and who can blame them? They are a man’s best friend, a companion unrivaled by any other.

But wouldn’t we love it if their furry friends could talk and give us the goods (and the dirt) about their famous human bestie? Well, that would be nice, but it isn’t going to happen unless linguists start learning and teaching woof-woof talk. So I guess delving into the breed of the K-9 friends these celebs are choosing may give some insight into who they are off camera (and Twitter). The following is a list of 10 LGBT celebs, their bow wow, and what their particular bow-wow’s breed may say about them:

Alan Cumming
He plays a campaign strategist and crisis manager named Eli Gold in CBS’s popular TV series “The Good Wife.” He is also starring in the Broadway musical “Cabaret.” He’s one of the most versatile actors in our generation and has had all shades of roles under the rainbow. When he is not working, he’s home with his multi-talented (she does impersonations) pooch Honey who is a Collie-Shepherd mix. Collies, like Lassie, are working dogs: They are strong, have stamina and are highly trainable. It’s also said if you own a shepherd or collie, you are a classic extrovert and can socialize with anyone and everyone. Yes I would say this sounds very Alan Cumming-like.

Jane Lynch
You know her as Principal Sue Sylvester of Fox’s musical-comedy series “Glee,” for which she has won both an Emmy and Golden Globe. Jane totes around her Lhasa Apso Olivia that she adores ever so much.

Lhasa Apsos are happy, joyful and playful, but are also regal and dignified. Lhasa Apsos were bred to be indoor dogs for dignitaries, including the Dalai Lama in Tibet, for hundreds of years. Jane as a monk? Yeah, I can see that.

Anna Paquin
She plays the slightly clueless fairy Sookie Stackhouse on HBO’s hit series “True Blood.” She has been quoted saying that her dogs have grounded her and given her perspective about herself. But for brevity, we’ll only introduce her Catahoula Leopard dog, Banjo. The Catahoula Leopard is the official state dog of Louisiana and is highly affectionate, hard-working and an excellent family dog.

Robin Roberts
The “Good Morning America” anchor, who is a cancer survivor and has recently undergone treatment for a rare blood disorder from the chemotherapy she received, was overjoyed when she was able to reunite with her Jack Russell Terrier, KJ. JRTs don’t grow over 18 pounds, but are very quick and sporty. And very Robin Roberts-like in that they are fierce and resilient.

Anderson Cooper
The anchor of CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360” jets around the world to do live news broadcasts on location for breaking news, loves his Welsh Springer Spaniel Molly. Molly made an appearance on Cooper’s, now defunct talk show, “Anderson Live,” where everyone was introduced to the shy Molly crouching in Cooper’s lap most of the time. The Welsh Springer Spaniel is a sensitive breed, they have a soft and gentle expression and are extremely devoted to their owners.

Jesse Tyler Fergusson
Better known as Mitchell Pritchett to avid “Modern Family” viewers like me. He treats his dog Leaf as his own child. Leaf is a Maltese-Yorkie mix and is as cute as a button. Maltese dogs are lively, playful, quick learners and brave. Leaf’s other half, Yorkie, is similar. They are small, clever and playful. It’s also been said that if you own a “toy dog,” like a Yorkie, you’re likely to be very creative.

Jim Parsons
Even though his character Sheldon Cooper sings a jingle about cats on CBS’ hit sitcom “The Big Bang Theory,” Parsons is actually a dog person in real-life. His beloved Shih Tzu Rufus is one of two of his prized pooches. Shih Tzu’s are Chinese dogs (the word Shih Tzu in Mandarin translated means lion dog). They were favorites of Chinese Royalty, so much so they refused to sell, trade or give away these dogs until the 1930s.They are happy, lively, alert and packed with character.

Neil Patrick Harris.
This “How I Met Your Mother” star has always had two dogs, a Carin Terrier named Fred and a rescue dog named Watson who is a Labra Doodle-Wheaten mix. He has said that their family has always had these kinds of dogs, if one would pass away, they’d get another. Both dogs are from the Terrier family, but the Labra Doodle requires tons of mental stimulation and needs to be challenged or they get bored, so it takes quite an energetic owner to keep up with them.

Ellen DeGeneres
She has a Poodle-Maltese named Wolf and a Poodle named Mabel. Poodles just like Malteses are “toy dogs” and extremely adorable. In addition to their adorableness, they are also highly intelligent (arguably the most trainable breeds), delightful, very amusing and keen. What a perfect match for Ellen as she is all of those things and a bag of dog biscuits.

Ellen Page
She came out last month at the Las Vegas Human Rights Campaign’s “Time to Thrive” conference in the most ingenious and revealing manner. She has two Poodles of her own, Gigi and Valentino. Just like her name twin (Ellen DeGeneres, duh), she and her dogs are all that and then some.

When bestselling author Anne Rice congratulated actress Ellen Page via Facebook on February 15 for having the courage to publicly come out as a lesbian, not everyone on Rice’s page shared her sentiment; not even a day later, Rice posted that she had had enough of the homophobia.

She wrote:

“Our post commending actress Ellen Page for her courage in coming out as gay attracted a lot of hostility and hate and hate speech — as well as positive and substantive comments. I have banned many from the page today. I will no longer tolerate hate speech in the guise of Christian belief with the usual irresponsible pick and choose bible quotes and talk of “sin” and hellfire. I have had enough of it, and I think the world has had enough of it too. Again, I commend Ellen Page for her bravery in coming out. I hope more celebrities and public figures will be inspired to do so. Anyone who thinks this does not matter is deceiving himself or herself. It matters very much. Gay people in all walks of life suffer from bigotry, bias, superstition, and ignorance. Hats off to Ellen Page! (And please do NOT come here to tell us publicly that you “don’t care.” If you don’t care, don’t expect us to care that you don’t care!).”
