Margaret Cho is coming back! The critically-acclaimed comedienne is set to return to the road in January for a string of dates in support of her new stand-up show “Mother.”

“Mother” offers up an non-traditional look at motherhood and how we look at maternal figures and strong women in queer culture. It’s probably Cho’s edgiest show to date, filled with riotous observations on race, drugs, sexuality — gay-straight-everything in between, celebrity, culture, politics — nothing is sacred.

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, right?  Shedonism, the official women’s celebration at Las Vegas Pride is kicking off on Thursday, September 6 at the Mirage Resort and Casino with a comedy show from Margaret Cho and an after party at Tabu at the MGM Grand.  

We spoke with Shedonism’s promoter and main DJ Lisa Pittman about what gay women can expect this weekend in Sin City.

The nation’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) voters prioritize the same issues of the economy, unemployment, and health care as the rest of the general population, according to a new Logo TV poll.

This comes as little surprise to comedian/author Margaret Cho, who appeared (along with fellow HuffPost Gay Voices bloggers John Becker, Toni Newman and Rebecca Juro) on HuffPost Live to chat about the survey, which challenges the perception that the marriage equality is the top election priority for the American LGBT population.
