I think we all have baggage we bring into relationships. Sometimes it is emotional, sometimes it is the family, sometimes it is just our “stuff”, and sometimes it is a big old green refrigerator representing it all. The heat magnifies everything and makes the refrigerator even more imposing… pushing us to max out the temperature gauge on our internal “oh-shit-o-meter”. Often we ignore the redline hoping it is just broken. *tap, tap, tap* As always, you bring us to a moment that ties to our own history and capture the flavor of our common life experiences laced with our particular emotional insecurities.
